I feel the supermat (HandStands Super Mouse Pad) has slightly better quality.

So the supermat that everyone boasts about is this one? because their seems to be quite a few brands.

or get a razer goliathus speed/control

or if you want a pad that lasts forever get steelseries i-2 (icemat)

or you can get puretrak talent (i did get one, it's good)

the most well rounded mousepad imo is razer goliathus
it doesn't quite feel as amazing as hien, but it doesnt get fucking dirty as quickly which is nice.

PureTrak Talent or Stealth (for smaller desks) is probably one of the most popular pads here. Most people, like me, switch from the QcK to the Talent.

Is there any objective advantages from going to QCK to Talent? When using Microsoft mouse??

I've just recently switched from having a QCK+ and previously used the Razer Goliathus Speed (not the new one, hate that one) to the PureTrak Talent.

The Talent is very large, larger than both previous mousepads. The PureTrak is pretty smooth and so far I haven't found any inconsistencies after about 1-2 months use.

I'm using a IME 3.0 and I would say that it feels closer to the Razer Golithus Speed (old version) than the Qck.

I wasn't a fan of the QCK+ including the thicker version.

I have quite a few mousepads :E

So far, i'm enjoy the puretrak talent the most.

Bigger than the heavy? I think it's already big enough specially if you use a WMO-sized mouse. Bigger than this and people would think im crazy when they come into my rom. Also I don't like the big ass 'TALENT' logo, it's too distracting.

4cm longer, 4cm shorter, same thickness. However it feels like the Talent is better quality, don't really like how the heavy has creases in it even after weeks (and then some!) of use. Using books etc still didn't make it feel right.

I don't notice the Talent logo, but if you care about visuals I guess don't get it?

Many. Most people who have the QCK switch to the Talent.

Thicker, larger, better build, MUCH smoother, more consistent, a little bit cheaper, warranty, washable and made in the US.

the heavy isnt' washable? Mine has a decent amount of dust now, and as lost smoothness on the more frequently used area. It's still a pretty perfect match with the WMO imo

I wouldn't machine wash it like the Talent because mine frayed and came out all warped. It was never the same. Run water over it and it should be fine.

/edit: taking a quick look through your last posts you a) defended the puretrak valor (even though you claim you do not own one and you would only post on items you own, heh) and b) you wrote you 'loved' puretrak's mouseskates. you also now posted negatively about the two main competitors of the talent: the artisan pads and the qcks. coincidence? i don't think so :p

You caught me! I'm employed by Puretrack to post on forums hoping to convince people they should buy their products. It's a good setup I have, commission based, paid holidays, and as many stickers as I want. I pull in mass $$$$ for them based on my overwhelming about of posts. *rolls eyes & lol's*

The Artisan Zero is going to be released in the next month or two and is their answer to the QCK-style mousepad.

I'm currently in the Beta test period and I've been using the mousepad for a week. Love it. The Zero is slightly faster but made extremely well. It wasn't hard for me to adjust to it at all.

I've been a QCK user for 2 years. After a week the Zero feels more natural to me than my old pad. PM me if you have any more questions!

I have The PureTrak Talent, CorePad XL and XXL new line, Zowie G-TF Speed, SteelSeries 9HD,Everglide Titan DKT, QcK Heavy and I have to say that nothing is better than QcK for purely comfort, overall friction and control.

Wish I could try the Raindrop XL though.
