Is there any difference in term of feel between using 125 hz and 500 hz on WMO apart from the difference in the perfect control speed, malfunction speed, and the USB port latency?
For an unknown reason, I can't use the 'reply' button..
#1: I play at 2 different Internet cafes. One of them, has the settings of its computers locked, so I can't overclock my mouse there. The other one is good, but it's far from my house and my friends don't play there.
#2: Is that it?
#3: How do you define this 'better tracking'? Less negative accelerations? I thought it will only apply on the mouse when you hit the speed limit..
I understand your frustration. Watch this video that walks you through doing this on Win 7, you will find it extremely helpful I am sure. I have no idea on how to embed videos but heres the link.
run dseo13b, enable test mode
restart
right click on hidusb.inf and choose Install.
run dseo13b, sign a system file
type in location of that hidusb folder C:\Mouse\DRIVER and then the location of the one proper for your OS.
for x64 use \DRIVER\AMD64\HIDUSBF.SYS, for x86 use \DRIVER\NXT86\HIDUSBF.SYS
restart
run setup.exe from hidusbf folder
select filter on device
select desired rate
click install service
close window
restart
run remove watermark for your desired OS
restart
What I was trying to say was, that if I don't hit the speed limit due to a relatively high sensitivity, and the freaking 0.0000000001 ms delay in the mouse response time doesn't bother me, I'll be find, right?
WIth that comment you clearly haven't read all of the useful information above. Not only does it reduce the latency between your inputs and the computer responding to them, it also makes the act of tracking much, much smoother, as in when you're tracking an opponent with an lg and so on.
Ever heard of 4chan? This is 4chan for quakers; with some interesting information and insightful viewpoints along the way.
Is it only me that feels the mouse sometimes have different sensitivity? I swear it is. Some times I cant hit shit. Then after I restart it feels so much better. Could it be the usb port that is failing?
I have it overclocked to 500Hz
I have to say. after removing the watermark. The way folders and text looks on the screen also feels different. Slightly off, kind of delay-ish feeling. Am I the only one with this?
I had HUGE issues getting this to work, so if anybody does everything right but it still won't work, please check if you have USB 3.0 or other USB drivers installed and delete them (pre-installed, came with mobo etc.) you do not need those, and they prohibit 500hz from working.
