I like how the game is dumbed down so much that it is even impossible to get a nice frag in it. This is insulting to any fps any fps movie ever made before.

Some really good sync but the pace is a bit killed by the useless editing at parts. Some effects looked really good though.

Felt more like a music video than anything else. Was constantly waiting for the frags to happen, but bugger all happened.

Well, this is my first fragmovie so the critique isn't surprising. The movie didn't really turn out as I'd hoped, the project was first started earlier in the beta when replays were hard to get so I just some of my own.

The intro is awful I agree, I didn't manage to make it as I intended with voice overs by casters and so on, therefor I called it a "Cinematic fragmovie" Hah.

Anyway I'll take the stuff you said to mind if I ever make something else.

... have in mind your movie have been seen by quakers... a very very tough crowd to please, + a rival game to quake - opinions can be a tad ( A TAD) bias

... on the second thought, nice editing for first try.

the problem is the game you've chosen. the intro could have paid off as it was layered to build into a crescendo. if you had a ridiculous triple air rocket or something to show at the climax before riding the musical crest of the wave to the next lull with more and more excellent frags then it would have been fine.

your movie making skills are the only reason this movie is getting any positive ratings. shootmania seems unable to produce the high quality gameplay to warrant these production values. try quake.

the editing is not bad, the game is. this is the reason for the low ratings etc.

idd, have you tryed quake? ... try looking for inspiration in quake movies.

on the bright side, if you do a few more movies you will get paid tons of money by the company who made shootmania for sure! its their policy after all.

The movie itself isn't bad, if it was made for any other game bar maybe CS Source you'd have received mostly good feedback. Shootmania is an instant zero.

So amazing video, i liked the part where he shootery that guy dead with instalaser while other shoot balls that take 3 hits and then he go to that place where something happens and transition to another player and another +1 10/10 would watch again.

It has nice CPMA feeling to it, reminds me of The Contenders 2.
