I´m kinda new to QL so I´m currently just using noctiscfg from ncts.at but I really like your cfg.

Only problem is it´s hard for me to see edges but I also don´t know most maps so do you get used to it once you know all the maps?

Only thing I noticed is, you could try cl_demorecordmessage 2 instead; it simply has a rec icon
In the bottom left instead of the clunky screen-wide statement of yorn.

I found the HUD in a previous thread like this, cfg is pretty much copy of someone elses afaik.

I'd like to make the color transitions more smooth, without making the colors flat if that is possible.

But it sorta lags here, dunno why. I'm pretty sure my pc can handle these settings, never had problems to run QL.

I'm running it at 120hz/stable 125fps, but its damn choppy, what i'm missing here?

Disable the custom hud. Even a simple hud like this one might cause problems.

I use the first one most of the time. With the others, on larger maps, or when there's lots of players running around the map, I get huge frame drops because of the health and armour bars.

When playing duel on smaller maps, sometimes I switch to the second - I need the timer right in my face or I completely forget to time the items. :)

I use mapoverbrightbits 0 and overbrightbits 0, picmip 10 and use Bloom settings (SceneIntensity 1.3, SceneSaturation 1.3) to make Keel bright. Slightly modified Strenx hud. Pressing up arrow turns on clock and weaponbar, down turns them off.

I need a config that doesn't use r_overbrightbits and postprocessing. r_mapoverbrightbits is ok.
The main problem is making enemy models and crosshair visible enough.
Atm I use intensity 1.3 gamma 1.5 mapoverbrightbits 2 and black crosshairs.
I don't like it though, models aren't visible enough at long distances and explosions/plasma balls are completely blinding me. Some crosshairs are semi transparent for no apparent reason.

Haven't played with him a long time but he's a top player when he wants to, I'm just not sure he wants to when he's home. And I don't know if he still uses sens 7 accel 4 but I'm fairly certain he still hasn't got a desk.

Ye it isnt superhigh on 400dpi but it feels weird thats for sure(i talk about 2/2 sens/acc) now :)

hmm 400dpi would prolly be sens 5 accel 0.1-0.2 for me ...mayby even sens 6-7 when i think about it.
All the struggle with low sens makes me puke and i actually shaft worse. Ql is more about mouseaim/than strafe. Was different in OSP.
