whats the point of giving every day a star. They should be used to highlight something, like faceit sundays

Because the bronze starts represent smaller events with prizes.
If 125fps and faceit decide to stop hosting daily cups, then there's no bronze starts left.

I think giving out ~30€ from 125 and 10$ from faceit is at least bronze-star worthy.

Plus, the 125 cups don't have fixed money prize, some events are offering pro tokens, some are offering hardware. If you're interested in prizes, check the tournament info.

I'd like more input on this topic though, it does look like I've highlighted every single day, but what do faceit guys think about removing them from the important or relevant events?

faceit sundays are more important than faceit dailys

tdm eurocup has more people playing than faceit sundays. Even today's tdm draft does.

That's why I was worried about even starting the whole rating system.

Does a duel player care about this TDM events? Do viewers matter or prize pool? Should prizepool be the only deciding factor?

I'd definitely give TDM EC a silver star, especially the quarters and final, many would disagree though.

That's why I'm looking for a balanced middle ground, the stars roughly represent the importance of an event based on popularity/prizepool. The faceit elo cups aren't even streamed, but there's up to 60$ to earn if you play them all. HoQ CTF is streamed and will probably rack up a lot of viewers but there's no prize involved.

In the end it's just hard to "judge" events.

Faceit sundays
Good tdm or ctf match, no matter if it is quarters.
something special that stands above the rest, like what 2 or 3 things you would watch no matter if it is the same day

First 4 CTF matches listed are div 1, TDM are Eurocup quarter which also involve top EU teams, not sure how to distinguish them between less important matches.

I'll figure something out.

big revamp

*swapped from stars to cups for better visibility (silver star hard to see on some themes)

*changed highlight criteria (event needs to be at least silver cup in order to appear near weekday name)

*added CB symbol for important matches.

*gold star will be used for special events

125fps offers prize money depending on the number of participants, from what I can tell there's usually 10-16 signups, meaning ~3€ prize money each day, rounding up to ~15€ weekly.
Faceit daily cups give 4$ for first place, earning you 12€. Zowie has hardware prizes I think and faceit sunday cup is 100$. 127€ should be the final result.
