You can ignore/ban #tdmpickup quality, but you can't ignore #tdmpickup ragequitters

i played a couple of games in the last few days after some months, had to wait quite a while before one of them but the rest were fine, enjoyable games. i'm usually the one sucking the most on my team but that's irrelevant here i think

Just make sure you abuse the rules to maximum extent in order to speed things up. Not present on the server at 4:59 - ask for sub already, dont let them play, but the sub instead. Game didnt start until 9:59 - leave the server without a word.

I'm fucking tired of this too, but these are the only things people will learn from i'm affraid, until you just look over these issues they will happily delay every game for smoking a cig, taking a dump, finishing launch, whatever...

Ragequit is permaban worthy on the second offense - why second? Cos many newcomers come from public, and they may did not know its not in fashion at the channel, so be understanding for the first time.

permabanning people won't do anything good but decimate the people playing. But 2hr or 1 day ban might do the trick.

yet they ban nined who's the most organised player on the channel!

with the huge activity going on I think the rules about being late, standard invites, etc.. needs to be enforced

I play pickup since the summer, and the waiting time before a game decreased radically. Back then, games usually took 40-50 mins, 20 mins of game with 20-30 mins of waiting time. This was mainly due to the cap system. It just took 10-15 mins till finally 2 people stepped up to cap the game, and the player picking was also slow as hell. Every single time.

Well people can always slap me when they need an invite :) even though I barely play pickups because I don't want to ruin the ggs (there are always stat whores)

You can always play shamanic tdm.

I have been playing these last days as well ever since I saw how active it is, I havent really seen much whine or big delays like you mentioned though. bad luck in your case?
