actually we didn't. i threw the idea out to stermy in the office cause it's an italian team and we were looking to find a player that could replace dimitri as he wanted to stop. howecer, i was already aware the team wasn't prepared to take in stermy when i mentioned it to him.

Stermy couldn't be added regardless, as you can add only 1 player in the playoffs (krysa used that spot already).

What ping problems if i may ask? They played on ukr server wich was a set back for sitto ruling out 1 key player. 102 using timeouts every second must be frustrating for opposing team. Really unworthy for a final imo.

Have you ever watched nhl games? I mean regular and play offs? Some ppl don`t care so much in group stages. Russians are those kind of people, who are not so focused when it`s not 100% needed. Remember lexer or cooller or other russian top players from the past? Lexer sucked in ffa so badly on quakecon, cooller is not so dominant against weak players as swe players etc. It`s called "raspizdyaystvo".

Oops did`t understand your question and i cannot delete my first reply because it`s not proven yet. You are talkin about 102 lan performance because of 1 match against swe which they lost? According to what i know they played completely unwarmed aswell as the nl team. So they both lost to weaker teams. When you have to wait bunch of hours to play your game doing nothing because you dont have an access to computer it`s exhausting and demoralizing.

I guess at ADROITS 102 couldn't show great performance, because they got a bit new line up, Latrommi instead of Lexaa with who they played for a long long time, and may be team play was not established at that time.

p.s. 102 stream is not allowed it's stupid. should we let then LVLup casting CB Nations games with England?

well tbh, constant timeouts tend to ruin one's gameplan...

and I don't get these admins forcing everyone to play on shit servers just so it's good for russians... there should be 1map 1server, not this. + russians have same or very similar pings on german servers as well, so it's not about them having better pings, it's about opponents having shit pings that they almost never play on.

Cause having ping advantage is ok if your opponent is "used to it".
Changing servers after each map may seem good on paper but in reality is too much of a hassle for little improvement.
Having everyone on as same-ish ping as possible is optimal for everyone involved, besides losers who blame 60ms ping for their bad performance.

it's nto same-ish ping tho, it's 1 guy with ping 20 making the average pings same-ish.

that is why games get played on .se servers, and there will always be problems with picking servers with 102, unlike planB.
But i haven't seen anyone acknowledge that to even out pings you need to get 4 people to take a hit of 30 on average while other team gets 20 ping bump. Which considering that about 20 (would be even more) games were played on german server is something out of the ordinary for any team to take.
We hear people talk about latency and feeling change for 10 ping change, I don't see how changin your ping to be 20-30 higher would be constructed as a positive influence on any teams gameplay.

Unless teams start practicing on .se server and play on those normally, only readjusting to play all teams but 102 on german server, and they could play like they do normally on .se server, maybe it wouldn't be percieved as such an "unfair" situation.

GG as always to my russian mates,in the other hand,i was frustrating too by all the timeouts following the stream,i could feel the player's rage by being stopped every 5 minutes timeout.in many cases got paused in powerups fights and
get ur concentration completely fucked and u lose item timing.
it wasnt a "fluent" grandfinal,ping problems ,hundreds timeouts and dramas :) without these issues we should seen a clearest final.... at least a clearest players humor

Even adding a super star player to the roster, couldn't take down the might of mother Russia!
