There was a guy at polish ET lan who took amphetamine, and did shoot like 45pc accuracy with ratio of 2headshoots per kill, using sensitivity around 14...
in ET, you can score a headshot which knock the helmet off and I don't think headshots are instakills like in CS, it's either that or the monster from the picture below

In Enemy Territory, providing your opponent was full hp, you could score 3 headshots on him.
3 headshots was basically the holy grail of the game since it was pretty much an insta kill.
Plus the view of all those helmets flying off was pretty cool.
IME, alpha blockers, specifically guanfacine (and if not then clonidine) , are much more effective in helping amphetamine related side effects. They are also much safer to take together since beta-blockers when combined with stimulants actually increase hypertension. Also if possible try to avoid levoamphetamine/dextroamphetamine combinations (such as adderall) since the levoamphetamine only adds unwanted PNS stimulation.
The best pharmacitucal grade amphetamine salt is dextromethamphetamine (desoxyn) by a long shot, unfourtantly its scarecly available in europe and even where it is doctors aren't too keen on perscribing it.
Whats so great about shaking/sweating/vasoconstriction/high blood pressure/rapid heart beating? You can always drink some more coffee or pop some ephedrine if you need more PNS stimulation, most people prefer a cleaner and smoother mental stimulation.
Yes I'm 100% sure that desoxyn is 100% dextro-methamphetamine. According to Wikipedia: "dextromethamphetamine is FDA approved for the treatment of ADHD and obesity under the trade name Desoxyn, while levomethamphetamine is a non-prescription over-the-counter nasal decongestant".
I know from experience that guanfancine/clonidine do not counteract the effects of amphetamines, though it obviously reduces norepinephrine reuptake; it doesn't seem to have any affect on dopamine/serotonin reuptake (desoxyn has much greater seratonin activity compared to dextro-amph). Infact I'm currently taking 3x20mgs of dexedrine a day with 1-2mgs of guanfancine on top and it makes me feel much less jittery without having any negative impact on my concentration. Hopefully my friend should be returning from the states soon with 2 bottles of 125 desoxyn pills.
I had seen the wikipedia page, but I wanted something more trustworthy. Wiki doesn't cite a source, and I couldn't find anything else that didn't look like it was simply quoting the wiki.
Actually you are correct, however the more trustworthy source is the package insert. It is in fact in there, I just didn't realize it. It clearly states:
(S)-N,a-dimethylbenzeneethanamine
The S isomer specified is dextromethamphetamine.
I believe there were racemic versions on the market (DL-methamphetamine) decades ago. Some say they actually prefer the racemic. I don't take them so seriously though, since obviously D-methamphetamine is what has had the real impact on our culture.
Edit: Had to change the alpha in the chemical name to an 'a' to prevent ESR posting software from changing it to the ugly "α"
Therapeutic doses of Desoxyn also sound way better than the other stuff. Desoxyn also releases some serotonin so I don't know if that if a safe bet with SSRI's (that I take). I'm happy with Adderall ior Dexedrine, better than being braindead.
look around, practically every sport has athletes taking something to boost performance, wether it be mental or physical. when glory and money is on the line, why the fuck not?
lan. On other videogamerz it's been said people use adderall all the time, and for example cypher drinks redbull like there's no tomorrow (tomorrow isn't).
I take Propranolol (a beta-blocker) for non-videogame related reasons and it makes a noticeable difference in how well I play. If you ever see me shafting in the 40s, I'm either hitting noobs in the backside or on meds. It really is a PED for games. Shit makes your hands super steady and it's impossible to not remain calm and focused, two things that are very beneficial for Quake. Surgeons, pilots, musicians and other people who need to do intricate and high-stress tasks use them regularly.
Here are a few threads from Reddit that discuss them in an e-sports context:
I just switched from Bisoprolol to Propranolol en I have to say that Bisoprolol was better at keeping my heart rate low and steady. With Propranolol I have these sudden bursts of faster heart rates and they feel very unsettling, but at least it doesn't induce migraine :(
edit: that's from 5mg bisoprolol to 80mg of propranolol
I was initially prescribed 40mg as needed for anxiety but would get dizzy for a bit after it wore off. I imagine this was due to my heart rate going back up rapidly. I'm now taking 3x20mg spaced evenly throughout the day and am not having any negative side effects.
I'd let your Dr. know what's going on and maybe they can adjust your dosage.
I've only recently switched and they said it has to settle and I'll get used to going from bisoprolol to propranolol. For the issue you described they have given me a version with controlled release. This won't give you the full dose when you take it, but over the course of the day it will release small doses. Inderal Retard Mitis 80mg from AstraZeneca.
Yeah, anything that affects your heart rate should be taken seriously. One of the main dangers of beta-blockers is if you take large doses for long periods of time and quit cold turkey, you can give yourself a heart attack.
I don't fuck around with dangerous substances like alcohol.
Your not a looser buddy ...most people in human history who ever achieved anything worth mentioning smoked weed to some extant.
Archimedes made his most important discoveries while smoking big fat bluntz, Einstein was high as a kite 24/7 and Neil Armstrong blazed it to the moon and back.
Cool. When I'm high of speed (past thing) and some weed I get crazy ideas in my head that not end well. Usually happen on bed or walking in the dark. I'm not really the person that should smoke weed because I'm already depressed and weed only amplifies those thoughts. I can certainly see why brainheads like to smoke.
While there are some noticeable people that smoked/injected/etc everything there is on the planet, problem with that logic as a whole is that people don't do their lives work in an instant, lets say wasted on heroin, but over years of work and dedication. It's not like they are 24/7 under the influence of any substance.
All that means that the potential of all substances is to be a boost at a certain moment, nothing more nothing less.
This bring another point, which consists of how regularly they ate funny mushrooms. One thing is having smoked pot once and a different altogether is doing it every week, every day or being addicted to it, especially with the ones that are confirmed to destroy people's minds and bodies.
Third and final point is the influence of other substances, activities, experiences or even genes on their work. This is the argument that's all brought up when some videogame player goes on a killing spree: was the latest batman movie more influential than playing cod99 single player for one hour? maybe it was the potat he ate before, or perhaps that he had social and mental issues jamerio-style (jamerio is not jamerio because of getting stomped in one lan and ignored on an internet site. Reactions are deeper than that).
