i feel terrible just by reading this and imagining your frustration. you should contact the creators of this game and tell them to pls fix.

In order to use your hud whilst spectating, then you would have to be rather naughty and use quick bms to change around the relevant hudfiles inside w/e pk3 file they are stored in. It would be more bother than what it's worth imo.

You cannot move the item timers, only the weaponbar to the other side (cg_weaponbar 1/2/3 etc). As to enabling/disabling them, am I correct in presuming they are server side enabled when spawning the server?

Not too much you can do other than the model forcing and moving the weapon bar I'm afraid :(

I see. Thats pretty retarded, not going to move the ammo bar when i've played like that for years just to have the item timers when specting.
Same goes for not being able to change the spect hud.
Funny how in QW you can change the hud in real time with your mouse, but you can't do all these things in QL. Well.

About the model: already got cg_forceTeamModel to the model I use to play and when speccting the model would still be whatever model the player being spected is using.
