:c wasted potential

- Some really random and not frag movie worthy frags (FFA railing people that go on jump pad, dm6 YA pillars camp to name a few)
- Linkin park

h41 is a good player, I think this movies doesn't do him justice. Frags were really below average imo.

As many people are saying, there were some random frags, but overall I think this has been an underrated movie so far.

"CA" + broken english in the intro

the movie shouldn't have included the first frags as it's obvious all those were from the very same public ca match, lots of fillers. CA movies should be very short (3 mins tops) so they only include the omfgwtfahx moments that happen once every 1000 pubstomps.

With that it'd have been much better, and if you continue on quake please play mod with items and drop lolca entirely. Shootmania is kind of an alternative though as long as there's money on it.

so im gona try to be gentle and constructive:

-try to sync the frags with the music a little better next time.
-try to vary the frags a little more. there are a lot of shaft battles in order. It needs great skill to do that. But nontheless its pretty boring for me to watch. I'd rather see some randome granades and rockets.
-although the I rly dont like the music, it at least has a good pace, which is important.
-If you include CA-frags (which is highly debated as it seems) at least dont include thunderstruck 1v1 or eyeforeye battles.

-allthough I think that h4l is much more skilled than I am myself, the skills don't rly impress me too much. Why?

o FFA and CA-Frags like this occure very often. If good frags happen in an important battle it give a whole different dimension to it. Players are under pressure and therefore NEED to score. I remember some frags in T2-Battles where one player had the shaft and the other only had rocket. The rocketplayer HAD to hit the very important and insane shots otherwise hed lose. In CA-battles and FFA it does not rly matter

o Shaft-Frags don't rly impress me. If I watch a strenx- or evil-demo, most of the time similar frags happen. If not better

o Rail-Frags seldomly impress me. If you hit like 10 shots in a row. Well thats impressive. Or pixelshots or something. But besides that its all kind of the same level.


BUT!
Don't be destroyed by the ESR-community. Keep on doing quake movies. Maybe you write a couple of things down from the comments (not the flame) and try to do it even better next time.

i'm not lolca'er and i actually like ca quite much, but "one of the best ca players" provided so average ca frags? win an opponent with ~40% lg, then clean up others with easy rails/gauntlet someone after missed shots/sneak someone with many missed lg shots - are these worth highlighted? it happens everywhere everyday. imo ca is more for casual purposes and no need to feature those standard things into movies; creativity should be more welcome in ca-related contents. -2

I think that you can't compare this fragmovie with others from "pro" editors with a lot of experience. It's just a "tribute" from a friend to another. If it's his first fragmovie, nice job rzd.

Also, i think h41 has a great potential if he consider to do some serious stuff besides CA.
