both are great so it comes down to personal preference more than buying "better" hardware. In other words, if the current setup works then there's no reason to change it besides wanting to try something new.

If you have gotten comfortable with your setup, aim and move consistently, then why change this due to using it for an arbitrary length of time?

Why not simply replace like for like when something wears out and be content in finding a setup that works for you?

Changing either mouse or pad for you will entail in at least a couple of weeks of frustration in not being able to aim at your previous standard; why go through this when you will ultimately only reach the same
standards of aim and movement that you currently have?

The only way you will ever improve your aim/movement is if you put effort into thinking about the strengths and weaknesses of your config/setup and aiming techniques; and how you could improve each aspect of them.

I don't think changing your peripherals for the sake of change will help you to accomplish that.

I went from mx518 and Everglide Titan to g400 and QcK Heavy. No problems. No real adaptation needed. One thing I would say is that 1000hz polling rate on the G400 made my mouse pitch feel different so I stick it on 500hz. Did modify my sensitivity by 0.05. Minor changes seemed to make huge differences to cm/360. Glad I changed. Also going back to old Nvidia drivers for my GTX 260 helped a lot. Also deleted repconfig and qzconfig. (was having fps issues/wooly feeling to mouse).

on my third deathadder i can recommend it in terms of shape, and general feeling. on the other side it lasts max 2 years and the chord is dismantling very fast

Also, I think the SteelSeries QcK's with logos and stuff on them feel a little more like a QPAD than a regular QcK. It has a more smooth surface (and less friction, I guess).

When my 4th abyssus broke in 2 years, I had enough. Did some research, realized the zowie-am sensor/shell are a nice upgrade.
