If you cannot wait for something to happen (in the literal meaning, i.e., it has to happen earlier otherwise you won't be able to experience it), the only reasonable explanation I see would be death. But you are more than welcome to explain different reasons. ;)

what are you refering to?
as a noob-team-player (switzerland) i'd rather see a cup A and a cup B.
So we could play only "bad" teams and not getting mercy-loss after 5 mins (which is a fact against russia etc.)
but if we qualify, we'll lose probably all games and maps. or i have to say most likely!

In Nations Cup there is no divisions. Therefore qualifications are there so we can choose which of the lower skilled teams can fill up the group spots.

About losing badly to higher skilled teams, that's unavoidable I'm afraid :/

all im saying is that there should be divisions... would be more fun for most teams i guess....

why not just let every nation play and make larger groups? its bs some nations dont get to play the full cup, how do you expect them to ever raise up then?

Personally i would rather get eliminated in qualifiers instead of getting beaten horribly by every other team in the group stage.

It saves you from a lot of unnecessary rage and disappointment :)


If nations really want to improve.. well then a lot of practice with teams of equal skill is an option. Playing 3-4 official matches that all end up with mercy limit isn't really going to help them imo.
You can't exactly work on your ingame tactic while being preoccupied with survival.

How can u even propose something like that? It's like making divisions in the football world cup, yay we are the champions of the world of 2nd division. Whats the point even? Nations are nations, gathering of the best players from each country, 90% of the teams have players from div1, at least one or two. Besides, by just watching at the teams who signed up, you would have maybe 4 div2 nations, all other teams seem quite equal. Also its nations cup, not clans cup, if u would practice ur teamwork u might suprise some other teams, since except 102 and RU, most of the other nations players are split in different clans. I'd like to see at least 5 teams groups, so its not over after 2 games for some teams, and we can see a lot more matches.

There are sports with divisions in the world cup, ice hockey for example. The best teams of the B-World cup will rise to A and the worst of A will play in B next year.
Football is popular in nearly all parts of the world so you can get 32 teams on a somewhat similar level.
If you did such a WC in ice hockey you would get 20-0 games and that is pointless. And this Nations cup will be the same.

What about to let the 2 last placed teams of each group to play in two new groups while the other first 3 teams had to play playoffs?

e.g.

There will be 4 groups of 5 teams each.
First 3 will advance to playoffs while 4th placed teams of the groups will build up a new group. Same for 5th place. So these teams will get the chance to play some equal matches, if they don't drop out before.

it was actually closer than we thought. unfortunatelly we could not play with our star player (the only one in an active clan) because he vanished from earth somehow. maybe he will reappear some day.
but i doubt that we had won with him ;D
