Here is the story...
I was running a bit late for a pickup game, but just when I was already on my way to the server AND wrote it on the channel, Lam subs me and takes away my place. He also threatened me with a ban, when the rules say there should first be a warning.

(13:39:05) (@Lam) too late
(13:39:08) (krischa) he wrote back
(13:39:15) (krischa) nope... we didnt wait 10 minutes
(13:39:21) (@Lam) it's 5 minutes before I can sub
(13:39:29) (@Lam) 10 minutes before I can ban him :)
I was obviously pissed at him and after I expressed it - he actually went ahead and banned me from the channel. To me this looks like a blatant abuse of power by a man who is a lowlife in reality, but tries to at least feel some importance online.
(14:00:55) —› mode: (Lam) sets (+b *!*@cpc2-brig17-2-0-cust822.3-3.cable.virginmedia.com)
(14:00:55) —› kick: (crims) was kicked by (Lam) (1h - no-show + disrespect)
The 5-minute rule was obviously made to sub people who are afk, so that others do not have to wait. In this case, I was not afk and Lam knew it, as he saw that I wrote in chat that I am on my way. It made no difference to the others waiting which one of us got to play.
In summary,
Abuse #1: Took away my place for personal benefit, when there was no benefit for others in the pickup.
Abuse #2: Threat of ban without a warning.
"(13:39:21) (@Lam) it's 5 minutes before I can sub"
"(13:39:29) (@Lam) 10 minutes before I can ban him :)"
Abuse #3: Actual ban in response to my harsh remark, which was directed at him personally.
What do you guys think? Did Lam abuse his power in this incident, or am I overreacting?
Do you think Lam would have done the same if there was some well-known high-level player instead of me?
