there're both 120hz and 144hz available on it, but it's not really gonna be flickering on 144

There are a couple of threads about this monitor already. But to answer your question: Yes, you can choose 120hz if you're worried about tearing. And if you're using Nvidia, you probably want to check out the lightboost tweak, in which case you would have to run with 120hz anyway. 120hz also has less scaling issues if you prefer to run monitor scaling over gpu scaling.

That being said, 144hz is great.

I have read those threads but thx for linking them anyways! Well thats awesome, I think I will order mine today! It seems like the best Monitor if you want as little input lag as possible. Atleast if you compare to other Benq monitors!

I just got the monitor and when I play QuakeLive I have a problem. I use the resolution (1000x700) Kinda. Its not exactly that resolution but I dont remember the exact numbers. Well to the problem. Before it scaled down on the right and left side. But now it scales down on the top and bottom to. I dont know why it does this? Its the same size as the older monitor. If anyone knows how to fix this, plzz tell me!

Also this dont happens in other games like CS:GO, and such.

Do you use GPU scalling option in nvidia drivers? Also maybe you should use 1920x1080 on that monitor.

Im so used to the lower resolutions, and not widescreen! Is widescreen as good as normal 4:3? Do the good players play with Widescreen? Just curious. Well I cant find any GPU or any scaling options in Nvidia drivers.

It's a matter of preference.

Yes some use widescreen (rapha for exemple). As for the GPU scalling since i use the last driver and they changed the design a bit i dont know where it is now so i cant show u with a screenshot unfortunatly. But there is definitly a GPU scalling, you should search inside the NVIDIA drivers options, or try google for it ;)

Thx alot for the help! I just found the option and it worked! I will play some matches with widescreen and some with old resolution and see what I find most enjoyable! But thx for all the help! Also the monitor is awesome :)!
