it's fairly normal. it's cause of the thick rubber backing. you can try a stack of heavy books.

I've got the same mousepad, i noticed that at first too however after a while now I no longer notice it!

How is the complexity compared to the steelseries np+?

Naw I got both talent and Col pad, and the col pad skips at high speed.

it "skips" ? XD what the hell man? what do you mean? it skips tracking, as in: stops for short moments?
what mouse are you using? I use a slightly modded g400 and can not confirm any issue like that.

I tried it on wmo g300 and g400. They all spaz out and make crosshair go to ceiling if I do a fast sweep across the pad while attempting a 180 flick shot.

I have a g400 on 800dpi with something like 30cm/360 and I never had a problem like that.

Im a 28-33cm/360 claw gripping with 400dpi with both wmo and g400 and 450 with g300. Maybe my flicks are too damn fast, but it registers fine on the talent.

I have not owned that but judging by the pictures and description alone its much rougher than the complexity.

The complexity is a slightly rougher version of the talent - the talent is very high speed, the complexitiy medium speed, the NP+probably low speed - by the looks of it unnecessary. My problem with the talent was that I felt that my mouse has no grip, does not stop by iself.. it was just too smooth. This is eliminiated on the complexity.
Again I highly recommend it over any othjer mousepad for mid-low sens0rs.
