yeah, my thoughts.
I have played with IE3 for 8 years, tryed evo ec1 and its better. not much but better.

It's not good. Low PCS (1.9 m/s), smaller, switches don't have much feedback (but they're light and snappy - minute travel distance). I would recommend the eVo if you're after a true IME 3.0 shape.

Scratch that, the best PCS I could get with it was 1.6 m/s lol.

Its shape is the strangest thing. If you look at them side by side, the structure looks similar, but in reality it's thinner, shorter and the right side had no space for my ring finger. The rear did not flare out as much as the 3.0 so my palm felt very cramped. It was strange because I could very easily palm a zowie eVo EC2.

While IME 3.0 being an awesome mouse, tops at 1.55 m/s above 250 Hz (so as WMO and IMO 1.1a).

What I'm trying to say is that if your sens is not ridiculously low and the sensor doesn't jitter and doesn't have Z-axis or other issues and has stable 500 Hz, it can be a valid option.

Which is 70 in USD. I ordered from Japan before and the shipment cost around 7-15$ for smaller stuff like manga or mousepads so I doubt that it would be 120, more like 80-85, let's say 90 at top, which is not more expensive than Zowie or other fancy stuff.

I actually paid $129 for it to be shipped here using j-Goods. And when you state 'it can be a valid option', you obviously have to take into account price. To be a valid option, it would have to trade blows feature for feature. Why else would you pay such a high premium to purchase a mouse that's marginally better (or worse IMO) than a mouse that costs $30?

Maybe the cost of shipment is more expensive to Australia than to Europe.

That's true to a certain extent but if I would honestly do that, DeathAdder, G9x, Zowies and such wouldn't be a "valid option" as well, because IMHO it's ridiculous to pay more than 40-50 $ for a good mouse.

Then I don't know why you're arguing with me when we agree on the fundamental logic "IMHO it's ridiculous to pay more than 40-50 $ for a good mouse". This mouse is as invalid an option as it gets. Those other mice however like the deathadder and zowie mice are no where near as expensive as this (I can get a deathadder for $50, zowie for $70 shipped) whilst having great PCS. Its a good tradeoff.

I'll try and find the receipt from J-goods to show you where the costs lie.

I had initially bought the mouse because back in Nov/Dec of last year, people on OCN wanted to know what this mouse was like. When I received it, I wasn't impressed, and waited for a firmware patch from dharmapoint to address the crap PCS. That never came.

I'll probably do a proper review on OCN to allay any further curiosity.

Mainly because of living in a country, where the average salary is ~275 EUR per month (instead of ~800-1000 EUR like in most countries in western Europe) while the prices are ALL "EU-standard" (well, not exactly, because electronics are even more expensive, roflmao) and getting a ~220 EUR gas bill for a month in winter while I'm sitting in a sweater in my room..

Actually i'd like to visit Hungary this year. How expensive is it for a tourist? Mostly interested in architecture (both historical and modern), museums and such. How friendly are people around and what about language?

Depends. For a western european tourist, if you pay with euro, it's cheap. However, it's disgustingly expensive for us.

They're lazy like hell, they don't look up things on the net or in the dictionary even if they're interested in the answers for their questions. Pathetic. There're exceptions of course but I can see the end of civilization and the crucification of the knowledgeable.

That shit isn't exclusive to your country. Over here, talking like a complete retard and acting like you're some hardened, hardcore street thug is the trend now-a-days. I actually miss the days when the emo thing was trendy with the kids.

yeah something broken with the website, i just refreshed it a few times.

After seeing internals, mouse is too pricey for what it is. More so than a Zowie vairant, and I don't exactly consider that the best value either, but would recommend it over this.
