dota 2 community is probably the worst on the internet. companies are so afraid of their image that the moderation is absolutely ridiculous. just yesterday i was banned from a stream chat for pointing out how retarded it is to steam 1080p+ in 20fps, ive had numberous topics removed from joindota.com. its really bad yo

the people controlling the dota 2 community have to be worse. you arent even allowed to say "FrankerZ = Dog Face (no space)" in their chats. thats fucking twitch.tv tradition!!

is just, every dota2 broadcast 50% of the chat is banned. like +20k people watching and some like 1 message/sec

well, i cant say much about teamliquids dota2 section, but other than that i dont think there are many other options. gosugamers been dead since dota1, which afaik leaves joindota.com. i guess there are russian and chinese also, but i dont speak either of those

I've played Dota 1 a bit, and it wasn't that terrible. It was still pretty bad, though. Out of all the moba communities i'd say HoN's is the absolute worst, it is hard to even put into words how absolutely horrible the people that play that game are.

Yeah, I've heard that the general competitive teamplay nature + dota style game where mistakes seem stupid doesn't lend itself nicely with visible ranking systems.
