Schedule: Passed

With group stage over we are starting with the playoffs of NC XVI TDM. There were few dropouts from teams like

Belgium,

Ukraine and

Netherlands, which were more or less expected, since they couldn't field 4 players most of the time. Check groups and playoffs pages for further info.

Captains need to schedule first round of playoff matches by 14:00 CDT, 18 March 2013 (Monday), otherwise they 're gonna get forced.

Besides prizes(tokens) for 1st and 2nd place winners of the cup, we will have One Month Pro and One Month Premium tokens for 1st and 2nd place of CBooky winners as well. So make sure to place your bets on time!

Also, I tried to gather as many VODs as possible from group stage (with timestamps OFC so that the matches start immediately) here : http://www.esportsfrance.com/actualites/30201/

EDIT : I should add that I'm disappointed by UKR, BEL and NLD dropouts, these teams could have done good :(. I wanted to see UKR especially.

Alternative predictions:
5 out of the 7 matches will be defwins, the final is played with one team at >100ms, no stream is provided for any match.

How are we doing so far?
It seems like Denmark got a defwin over Poland tonight. Also, Sweden played with gizmo even though he isn't added to their team. So I would count 2 defwins out of 4 matches.

but I bet players want to it be streamed and watched. at least they should considering the state of the tdm exposure. and now with lvlup somewhat back in picture there's no better occasion especially that it's a very interesting tournament so far and not many people have been able to properly follow it through.

yeah but its realisticly not possible to not only schedule your games against the team you are playing against but to also check with every other team aswell who are in the same stage of the tournament as you are. afterwards moving a game by 1 hour is no big deal most of the time though

only way to do it is to reverse the scheduling progress where admins force the dates for different times and then teams inform them if they cant play, could be a lot of work. i do get what you mean but its already so hard to schedule games in quake :f

yes we do and a very good one, we've been there for every game besides vs sweden but enemies noshow/drop cup/give def win.

i dont think there's anything wrong with the cup really, all the problems in this one come from player related issues more than admin/league... people simply shouldnt sign up if they dont have any motivation
