I doubt a lot of people have tried it. It's really cheap with free shipping so why don't you buy it and let us know.

It says it's 120 grams, that's much heavier than the wmo at ~77.

They could be weighing with cord I suppose, but 120 grams is a very believable weight so I kind of doubt it.

It looks like a razer copperhead with the rubber bumpers, which were really annoying and ruined that mouse.

Mine just arrived.

Much lighter than the Diamondback 3G. The 115 grams are with cable included!

Much better mouse wheel than the Diamondback 3G.

Cable is ok-ish. Diamondback's is harder, so it stays in the air when you have a loop in front of the mouse. This one is soft, so it touches the table/mouse pad more, but it's light and with small cuts, so it doesn't add that much traction, let's say the lower mouse weight offsets it.

Came with feet protected with plastic film. Nice touch, imho!

Straight out of the box, its buttons are a bit harder to press than on the (used) Diamondback. That's a big problem for me, I wonder if they soften up after some use.

I'm on Linux. No drivers were needed, all buttons work out of the box.

Has no problem with 500 Hz polling (forced with usbhid.mousepoll=2 kernel option).

Unlike "brand" mice, this has pretty generic USB description. No E-BLUE or Cobra in your device manager.

This may be a disadvantage for someone because I use matching by product name to set desktop mouse deceleration. I can imagine someone having two "USB OPTICAL MOUSE" devices which need different settings.



And now to the section you've all been waiting for:

IT GOES STRAIGHT TO TRASH.

Unlike actual gaming mouse, this one constantly sleeps in a low-power or just low-light mode (flickering red LED, I forgot mice even had those!)

When you move it, it notices and lights up the red light very fast. When you stop moving it, it switches the light off after 200 ms or so. And the problem with this is: it needs bigger movement to notice than it needs to track afterward.

Really, you can't make it move by 1 pixel. Once you get it moving, it flows nice, but once you stop, it goes to sleep almost immediately. Then you decide to correct by only a bit, but you can't - it jumps by few pixels.

For a low sensitivity player that wouldn't be a problem. But I play on really high, so it's a no-go :)

Not saying I recommend this product for low-sens players - I can't measure malfunction speed, so I have no idea if it doesn't have negative acceleration or something.


So although this mouse has great shape, weight and wheel, it's not a gaming mouse. It's just a cheap mouse with "PRO GAMING SENSOR" sticker.

I wonder if that behavior can be disabled via firmware.

I doubt such a cheap mouse can be flashed.

I wonder if its older brothers are actual gaming mice. Because this is Cobra Junior, 1600 cpi. Avago 5050 is in the Cobra and that claims 2400 cpi.
