rat vs vo0 (there's a video on youtube of those players duelling on cpm3a, and it's pretty intense. Rat was a Finnish dueller of incredible skill (prior to stopping playing completely and moving to Turkey to work in the tourism industry circa 2005-06), and vo0 is vo0, so yea, there you go :)

rat vs. Vo0 was hardly a rivalry. They barely met in tournaments, mostly because there weren't any large duel tournaments when Vo0 became very good.

That shit dissolved and decayed into nothingness in a somewhat anticlimatic end, just when QL was beginning to get riddled with cheaters... So much potential for top tier cheater exposing! And the subsequent years-worth of drama & lulz, lost in the depths of space and time!

I can only imagine the sheer enormity of their findings. No doubt they were overwhelmed when the realization of the true extent to which cheating had infested QL hit them like a blazing asteroid. It must have gone right to the very top of the highest echelons of Quake's most respected players.
