Just get a qck+ and use it for 5 years

QcK is awesome but loses glide rather fast with time.
The reason why people like qck is because the slightly worn out gives perfect gliding/traction control.

I'm in the market for something that's always fast and slippery and wet.

Speed = higher friction, slower "speed"
Control = lower friction, higher "speed"

If you're going for artisan, check Kai out.

i tried razer ctrl, razer spd, qck+ and qck np+ and can say that for me:
speed glide at razer spd and qck+
slower glide at razer ctrl and more slow at qck np+

he weren't =P.

Artisan Shiden/Kai are the fastest mousepads. They have a microscopic glass surface and don't have a rough texture.

I don't think their mousefeet are very good.

Actually i do own a qck+ too, but it's not really that smooth.

Thanks, but they're saying that the glass coated can lead to unstable tracking for Zowie EC1 & EC2.

That would be shit because i am intending to buy an Zowie AM soon, which uses the same sensor (Avago ADNS 3090) so that could lead to problems. Should i go for the RAIDEN then?

And what is the difference about XSOFT, MID and HARD then?
Harder should be better for smoothness right?

If the Goliathus Speed was the problem, i don't know about the Control Edition, in terms of wearing out.

If it's great and after a few days then it's shit, it don't help me that much. :)

I've got disappointed very often by razer in the past, so i thought i may give it at least with a mouse pad of them a try, but like i said, it didn't last that long.

how do you know the avago 3090 does not work with puretrak and artisan mousepads? source, please.

I think it must be the custom lens, i tried an EC2 EvO on many surfaces, (500hz 450dpi ) it would skip on pretty much anything if i moved my hand fast enough, except when using a red artisan hien VE +, in paint i noticed some jitter while doing diagonal movements @ 1150 dpi no matter the mousepad.

savu/spawn/recon + plain black clothpad is a safer combo if you ask me

I was extremely pleased with my HIen q3.kai HARD,,now that they don't make it anymore, i bought a regular Hien Hard and it seems nothing special anymore..altho i am not complaining, the transition from the g3.kai to HIen hard was extremely smooth and im hitting well again.

I bought 2 extra pads when they were about to discontinue them during their sale. Bought them at like $10 a pop. So glad :D

Get a Zowie G-TF Rough Edition instead. It has the same rough surface like hien hard but it's much thinner.

Do you know if that version is sold in eu? I seem to only be able to find the G-TF Spawn edition

Don't want to make another thread, so i will ask here. I plan to order a few mouse pads from their site, but I do not know exactly what to get. I need a mousepad mainly for sniping with 18-27sm/360 sensitivity in game. I have artisan raiden xsoft, it's good, but not what i want, because it's hard to control. For test i like to use Fast Aiming Mass Click from aim400kg. And in my resolution - 1152-864 (not so big) without zoom page - this gives me so much pain for trying click last 50 balls. I also tried to use goliathus control, but results were the same, so I started to use buro bu-307 (lol), really cheap mousepad. Also had the opportunity to use a cheap plastic pad with low sens. When I move the mouse in circles with the force on it - felt strong resistance, but when I started to move mouse without any force, she moved very quickly, easily and stopping where she should. I was doing so great flickshots... But the happiness did not last long and after a while the pad was just slippery with 0 control.
Also I don't think that I like xsoft. Mouses: g9x, DA, wmo.
I would be very grateful if you help me.

Artisan Hien soft, turn it sideways so you get the slower glide from left to right. Best surface alltime.

Can somebody confirm that Zowie AM/FK works with Artisan mousepads (which models?). Otherwise I won't bother buying one of those.

Ask "Takasta" on Youtube/Gmail/his store/etc, I know he has both models, and he tried a lot of different Artisan mousepads!

The FK works well with the Hien, the hayate and the Hayabusa. I don't have any issues with those pads.

Also works well with my shidenkai

red hien/hien VE is your best bet, my EC2 never had much luck on the black ones ( including hayate )

don't even think about using shiden KAI, dunno about the white one tho

I'm using a shidenkai at this very moment. I've used it with my EC1/AM/FK and experience no problems. What problems have you had with it?

it just felt ... weird, virtually unplayable for low sens , mcfly has said the same thing about shiden KAI and optical mice in general, don't have the zowie mouse anymore so i could be wrong, i have tried many mice ./ pad combos in the past so you get the idea :p

I use the intelli 1.1 on an Artisan Hien L Hard. The surface feels like a hybrid of the steelseries s&s and qck. Tracks perfectly

I have 2 Artisan mouse pads. They are good but I just went back to the QCK+, it does the job.

anybody tried cm storm RX control yet ? speed and power RX were both total failures tracking wise but this one is supposed to be "designed for gamers that prefer low DPI settings" the base looks promising too

With a zowie AM I've tried the artisan hayate, shiden and shiden-kai. They all work perfectly. Afaik the FK has the same sensor so should work fine too, but haven't tried it.
