130 grams forget it

Errh have you tried a mouse lighter that 65g?
it really is way too sensitive at that point , I've been using a 56g mouse for months now and just got back to using an 80g one, my 56g mouse basically reacted however my body reacted ( jittery, stiff ..... etc.) and it meant I had to actually be in good shape to aim..

Also that could be the weight with the cord, so it's probably something like 100g.

I've tried the MiCo at 68 g and it's great, just the shape is a bit weak and the feet are dreadful.

I would use a salmosa, or even a salmosa asia edition if I could stomach its shape which I'm certain that I could not (I also don't care for mouse prediction).

I'd jump at the chance to try something like a 10 g wmo.

Sadly when the weight gets low the cord produces a greater and greater influence, so braided or otherwise treated becomes mandatory. Wireless is difficult due to the weight of the batteries (and concern over latency, and of course battery life).

I've had an abyssus and salmosa they were both fine overall I wouldn't cut more weight off of them, but I did end up doing that because I wanted to facilitate more movement at my finger tips ( which was great ) by cutting a chunk off the back of my abyssus ( gitz mouse essentially ) it was absolutely fantastic when I was feeling completely fine ( something quite rare for me these days ) , but as I was saying let's say your tired , on a caffeine rush or just anxious it all translates to your mousing motions.
Though I'm not saying you would be exactly the same, you might stomach less weight than I can , but quite frankly I find your obsession with getting a lighter and lighter mouse quite stupid from my own experience , no offense though.

Thinking about it maybe it would be best to put your hand in to an optical dome or something along those lines and you just wave your hands around instead of holding a mouse ?

I strongly suspect it wouldn't bother me in the least. I dream of some kind of "mouseless" mouse where the motions of my hand alone control the game as long as it is able to be in some kind of relaxed position, they way it would be resting on a mouse.

I understand, but really there hasn't been much of a "quest" for "lighter and lighter" mice. Almost all mice are >100 g, some classics in the 70-80 g range, and few less than this. I believe the salmosa holds the record for lightest gaming mouse at 56 grams.

Probably there are some laptop mice or w/e that are suitable for gaming and are lighter, but they usually come with a tiny shape that is difficult to grip. The salmosa has the same issue.

I feel like mouse companies in general haven't made any effort to substantially reduce the weight of their mice while also providing a good shape. That's why I keep mentioning it.

If you look at the mouse trends on the pro circuit you almost never find a pro player using a mouse that is >100 grams. In fact the trend is going "beating the wmo" with less than 77 grams.

In my opinion the reason you don't see super light mice being popular so far is the shape. The abyssus shape isn't for everyone, and certainly not the salmosa shape. Really though even still, the Abyssus has been a huge hit.

I dream about such ideas all the time. If I had some extra cash I would try to make something like this :-)

The salmosa isn't hard to grip if you don't grip it ( just let the edges rest on your knuckles or slot your pinky under it ) .
