I think they're starting with demos recorded when QLRanks TV is broadcasting. But there's a plan for demo upload function.

It's super alpha at the moment, hence it's not visible.

You can already upload (http://www.qlranks.com/demo/upload):

*.dm_73 files
*.zip files (upto ~40mb's) which will autoextract and process them into the database.

I'm going to release an open source tool soonish, that will auto-upload your demos as you play/spec people to qlranks.com demo archive.

Qlrankstv will be running this tool, and hence auto uploading all demos. Demos will be linked in player profiles, with an icon in the match history which you click to download.

The long term vision is a large api for people to use our data/site for their own purposes.

i.e. 'I want to make a tool to generate stats on player matchups! I'll just use the api'
'I want to make a matchmaking tool, I'll just use qlranks rating api and who's online api'

The longer term vision is demos auto-converted to youtube videos.
