Can't see what's so weird. Can you explain what's happening as detailed as possible, and also explain when this first ocurred and what it's supposed to look like
happens to me as well sometimes, lately on asylum only: very dark, LG beam becomes invisible, no plasma balls, no rocket explosions, rockets have no brightness (only see a small black rocket with no lightning).
try this:
-open console, type /cvar_restart
-in QL main menu, settings->restore default settings
-open the QL folder and delete repconfig.cfg and qzconfig.cfg
-rename or delete the autoexec.cfg
-start a game (should be default settings, with music and default cvars like sensitivity 4)
-esc->settings->enable console
-exec your cfg
-vid_restart
-restore/rename your autoexec
that should fix it most fo the times.
On a totally unrelated sidenote, does anyone know k1llsen mouse settings?
I can't figure out how to convert them for a wmo, because of those silly drivers settings; can't pinpoint the base sensitivity/accel exactly because of those.
So far I've tried stuff like "sens 2.6, accel 0.4, offset 0, m_filter 1, senscap 6-7" but it doesn't look like his settings.
He seems to have a very high accel and a sens in the range of 3@400dpi with no offset, but as far as i know noone really knows how to convert his settings.
Can't really remember details about killsen's setup but something like 2 years ago he said he used 40ish cm/360 which lead us to assume that his driver sens was pretty much 333dpi. I do remember the accel was around 0.1 once converted back to 400dpi though. Looked nothing like that on the lan vids I've seen but I got bored of that shit since then :D
exactly what i've experienced, that doesn't look like his setup at all.
thanks for the accel value anyways, although i'm starting to doubt it as well now
also, i forgot:
are you sure about the accel value? because it says 0.13@1000dpi in the cfg, i don't think the logitech drivers can change that, but i might be wrong
noctis cfg man.
i was using r_texturemode "gl_nearest_mipmap_nearest" + medium picmip for a while just to avoid the piss stains, but it fucks with your crosshair in way i had problems adjusting to
gl_nearest_mipmap_nearest almost always destroys crosshair, cant say the same about gl_linear_mipmap_nearest however =PPP settings crosshairsize to <37 on r_mode 9 and obb 1, it has some really nice features
Looks like low quality mip mapping to me. Try setting it to highest in graphics card's drivers. (It can be called "texture's quality").
Or set you r_texturemode to gl_linear and see if this makes distant textures less blurry.
