it looks good and throughout the video you feel like you can get around the map pretty quickly, traps at both major items like tox and some nice angles

Looks fun. I hope the mega and red rooms are not too exposed though. The mega room is massive, and to get the mega you have to go all the way in, and all the way out (vs something like furiousheights where there are lots of escapes once you pick it up) - not much room to hide/dodge either due to the open circular shape with water giving u limited platform to move. That will force most ppl to RJ out (taking considerable damage) into the small rooms which there are only 2 of. Items seem to be scattered very much in the open, and you will surely give yourself away quite easily because of the greens/shards due to this. But there's one way to find out - bring it on =)

I've noticed in the games I played that MH felt in certain ways simular to ztn RA although it is quite different, structually. If you approach it from high you can push for a fight by dropping down to the low passages of the room where players usually come from trying to do the damage. It felt simular to the situation where one player stands at the SG near RA on ztn and the other player is at the two 25 HP bubbles at the connection to RL trying to hit an exit rail.
So I think MH might play out like that, people trying to clear the situation before going for the item. However, I don't know for sure; people always come up with crazy ideas. I'm really impatiently waiting for the cup to see how it all works out :-)

After watching the vid, it reminds me of a tox vs t7 style of map, with a light sprinkle of hektik thrown in.

Rlly looking forward to playing the map.

cityy, I LOVE how this map looks! You really have an eye for great design and I'm so, so eager to try this map.

There are so many jumps to learn, so many angles to avoid being exposed at -- I hope this plays as well as it looks! :)

looks absolutely great. might be a very damage orientated map where every item is vulnerable an any weapon can do massive amounts of damage - with no specific one being stronger than another.

Hey, also, does this replace Fuse? I remember seeing the video presentation some time ago and this has a somewhat similar mega area (at least it seems inspired). Will we still see Fuse one day? :)

nigs really need to focus on making ztn type maps, a lot of brain and control but ability to play the map anyway you want.

etc ztn has it ALL and its fun for everyone.

make 3-4 maps like this and quake is good again.

that's some great insight. ztn is like, some hallways.

Haven't played yet but I don't like the shards and GAs spread. Reminds me of these nexuiz maps where you don't have any real armors to fight for - just shards spread everywhere around the map.
Also topology looks very simplistic (I have the same problem with silence). It's basically a circle with few horizontal levels.

As for the video, I'd have started off somewhere more interesting than that dark hallway though, perhaps overlooking the nice RA room from above.

You spent a little while talking and just sat in the hall.
I'd have moved to the item locations you were talking about at the beginning, personally :)

Probably just me, but I thought it could have been a little brighter for the video purposes, and could've been improved by turning off the xhair and weapon model for a more cinematic feel ;)

One more thing: MH windows need those shafts of light that Iron Works and other maps have. imo.
