I think SteelSeries QcK (heavy) is the preferred mousepad of most quakers, since it offers smoothness with a little friction, so your mouse won't fly across the surface like on a hard surface (9HD, Experience I-2 etc.).

If you like the shape of the mx518 go ahead and buy the G400. If you wanna try something else, go for something Zowie, either AM or FK. Most people here will probably tell you to stay away from most Razer mice. :)

I dunnnoooo, the Deathadder is alright. Was looking at the Zowie FK or EC eVo though.

the deathadder has a nice sensor, great surface and mousecord. it has aweful sidebuttons tho that will stop working at some point and also quite alot of lift off distance.

theres no perfect mouse and the DA has only minor flaws, but one should be aware of those ;)

Stars = I would highly recommend. As for mousepad, I really love cloth and I have only tried QcKs (got so damn many lying around). I have heard very good words about the Puretrak Talent, but haven't tried.

In my experience, the Sensei (I have the [RAW]) works very well for mid sens as well. Wouldn't call it a high sens mouse only. :)

I have not tried it, but i would never reccomend a laser mouse for other than high sens gaming or photoshop. "Extreme high sens" might be me over exaggerating :P

I never had any problems with it, and I think I played something like 30cm/360 (with a little accel). Never experienced any skipping or anything :) So yeah, it might be a little over the top to call it "extreme high sens" :p

I had major problems with Ikari laser at 27cm/360, so I just figured all SteelSeries laser mice are like that. Guess I was wrong.

no, xai starts to do weird stuff at 1.5m/s, that's quite some speed depending on how you play (eg. it is the malfunctioning speed of a wmo@125hz).

I've been playing with the old Deathadder for some years now and I've been pretty satisfied with it.

Last week I decided to buy the new Razor Deathadder 2013 and I love it. The grip is much better then the previous one, sensor is fixed so you can now ajust how long liftdistance you want. The sidebuttons is working fine.

Downside is that I got some problem with the first copy. After update of firmware the mouse died. I did read about this issue before I bought it so I wasn't suprised. But still enoying to go back to the store to get a new one.

If you're ok with mx500 shape then get g400 for sure. Any cloth mousepad, they all are similar no matter what PR says, only difference is quality and durability. I could recommend SS NP+, at least it's very easy to clean (it has waterproof covering).

Mostly, yes. Overall it's all gimmicks, after 10 mins every pad (qck, goliathus, puretrak, corepad) feeling almost the same.

The thing is that quality and durability is the only things that matter. So you're basically saying "all pads are the same, except that they are totally different".

Razer Deathadder 2013 and Steelseries QcK Heavy or Fnatic edition (If you want something slightly faster). Logitech G400 if you prefer that shape. If you want something smaller look at a Zowie EC2 eVo but it will have issues on many mousepads.

if u played with mx500 shape for many years, why try to reprogram muscle memory, just get the logitech with the same shape and ur good to go.

I don't regret buying a zowie ec evo. Great mouse and good quality. But stay with a shape you're used to. I came from a ime3.0 and the evo just feels the same.

I've got a total of 4 MX300's and 8 MX500's. I'm willing to sell all of the MX500's and 3 of the MX300's. (I've actually got 5 MX300's but one of them is disassembled and would require some work to get it fixed..)

As for condition, only one MX500 and none of the MX300 are brand-new. Overall the MX500's are in better condition (6/7 of them are "like new", only one is worn out a bit more), but the MX300's are in pretty nice condition as well.

As for the price.. Suggest something. ;)

mousepad, I like QPAD CT, QcK is also good. I had razer goliathus and loved it, but I quickly damaged it, too soft.

i'm using the Deathadder, i got my second one. The only and very only problem with it for me is, that its a little too big, if it was a little smaller it would be the perfect mouse imo. Thats why i think about getting a Zowie or an Intelli on Ebay.

The shape is great. It has a dodgy scrollwheel but its not that terrible.
I had some non gaming logi mouse before, so this was a step forward for me(together with a gaming mousepad).

The g400 looked small but I would have bought it if I knew it was liked so much.
