well, that WAS the dm13/nodm9 played in q3. so nodm9 = dm13 in ql

I always thought nodm9 had some slight but gamechanging differences in architecture, mainly the teleporter exit. not?

It was less narrow as far as I know, and there are some "tricks" you couldn't do on it that you now can on the current dm13 version.

The Quake Live version of Lost World has less narrow doorways as well. The QL version incorporates gameplay concepts from q3dm13, pro_q3dm13, and nodm9.

The "narrow" part was related to the older dm13 versions, although the ceilings in current dm13, at least for me, feel a bit lower than the ones in nodm9 (for example the celling of the hallway that connects the big room with the 5 HP bubbles with the MH room).

it lookes like you can hide/stand behind the teleporter, but i like the most the teleporter exit ... i know that from Dreamcast Q3A.

The backroom with LG seems diff too to me, more space is there.

The 2nd link you posted of "lost world" is pro-q3dm13 which was a pretty awful dm13 remake added in as part of the osp map pack. pro-q3dm13 replaced the RA position with the LG position and changed the architecture of the lg room (the lg room from qzdm13).

Then you had nodm9 and pro-nodm9 which were remakes of dm13 with the original item layout and slightly wider hallways. I can't remember which one of the two was the one used in competition (pro-nodm9 or nodm9) but the changes between them weren't significant with only one of the 50 hp bubbles and the shotgun's position being replaced iirc. Also, like in the original q3dm13, their was no YA in the LG room and instead it was positioned in front of the mh in the same room. Also the teleport exit was near plasma gun jump pad, oh and PG wasn't available in any of them.

qzdm13 is infact almost an exact replica of !nodm9cq3, a cq3 gameplay oriented layout of nodm9 with the same tele exit position and YA position that is featured in qzdm13. !nodm9cq3 (and the other cq3 map layouts) were added to cpma in the 1.47 update iirc.
