you can get very far with a shit mouse. so much of what people consider 'aiming' is done by movement anyway

Aiming is more complex than just aiming, good players position themselves, and use the right weapon at the right time and distance so their % are higher. There is no mouse for that.

There's much more to aiming than reflex and muscle memory, but using flawed sensors will only cap your own aim. So yea, you can get good accuracies with a crap mouse, but you'll have to put so much effort in it that it will make all the other aspects of your game worse.

A mouse dose not make you aim better.

The point of having a good gaming mouse is so that your missing is all your fault, not because some mouse defect.

with a crap mouse your aim will never reach his full potential.

still, with some mouseaccel, you can have more than decent aim even with a crappy mouse

but like someone else mentionned already, a crap mouse won't allow to your aim to reach its full potential

plus i remember prozac owning up a eurocup lan with a fucked op optical with 2 sensors that had him losing control (lookin straight up) a few times each map.

Me too. So as a Logitech Wingman Gaming Mouse.

I used a logitech mini optical for broodwar and it was sufficient for that. However, when I started to play quake and went lower and lower sensitivity with time to feel more comfortable I noticed that with very fast swipes my mouse cursor actually froze and moved a little in the opposite direction.

So I upgraded, but I am sure with some weird accel and sens combination I could have compensated for it. I just didn't see a reason for that so I upgraded. It didn't make me aim better but at least I have comfortable set up.

of course it's possible, just look at the steelseries sponsored players. off the top of my head i know czm was using a kinzu.

Kinzu v1 is awesome, even with the built in accel.

A badly shaped mouse will probably hurt your aim more than using a mouse with a non-perfect sensor.

I guess you don't even need a mouse if you have an aimbot with autofire. Just a monitor and keyboard will do... oh look I am imba because I can beat you with no mouse just like that cos I am pro and have 100% accuracy.
