I personally find 3v3 to be the best as well (at least for CA).

A typical 2v2 is either '1v1ing eachother' or 'focus 2v1 someone'. Rounds are over in 5 seconds, boring maps like hells gate etc. Might as well meet in an empty box room and just '3 ... 2... 1... shoot ... dead".

A typical 4v4 seems too crowded, too spammy.

3v3 just feels a lot better.
