League Matches will be Best of Three. Because each team plays one another 2 times throughout the season the home team will pick 2 out of the three maps. Home selects first, visitor second and Home third. Unless indicated in the cup-specific rules, you may only play each map once. The maps are selected before the match starts.
All matches are 4v4. If a team is short a player, that team may elect to play shorthanded 3v4 or forfeit the match. There is no obligation for the opposing team to also play shorthanded if the Match does proceed. Teams may also begin with a 3 vs 3 match.
So its only if a deciding map is needed home team picks two maps, as I read it?Yes, the home team's advantage is in the decider. The away team still gets their map. I think it can be an advantage, esp. with the away team not getting to drop anything.
