LZ number from both mice?

LZ is now the S/N right? new lighter one starts 1248H older one started with 1152LZ

Angle snapping was removed as of PID LZ13333. Lower PIDs have angle snapping

I *think* you own the "older" version according to the S/N, needs more googling though.

Copy pase the S/N and do some quick searches, the mousewheel shouldn't feel different though.

nah theres no angle snapping verified with the paint test. O_o It should be a newer one..

I do have a g400s coming my way in a week or so, I'll have to weigh it and see if its lighter like this O_o

yo nvm i was being a newb with my digi LOl shit weighs the same im just going nuts. Mwheel DOES feel different tho! More resistance.

Slightly different mousewheel is quite common, I know each mx518 and wmo I used had slightly different resistance or at least it felt that way before getting used to it.

There's no data around if they actually use different wheels or if it's just logical to assume that not every wheel is placed inside the same way.

If you're bored and feel adventurous, remove the feet and disassemble it and check where the rubber touches the plastic, maybe you can make it less spongier

Spec wise its a good mouse but the shape is really really bad... after long gaming sessions it can make your hand sore... if you play low sensi then get WMO otherwise get something like Zowie AM. Can't stand G400 shape.

been using mx518/g400 since 2008! I don't really play more than 7-10 hours a week usually so i don't run into any hand issues.

Never had a problem with the G400 shape and before that, mx510 for like 5 years.

Still, G400/MX518 is a marmite mouse - some love it others hate it.

I really hope Logitech will do something about the shape of their mice.
