According to the website they'll have a 1v1 tournament with a prize pool of ~11,500€ (100,000 SEK).
Let's hope that this is enough for the top EU duelers (+rapha).

edit: turned in my suggestion for the tournament structure to Dreamhack HQ last week. I think it's gonna be good! Lots of games, that's for sure! If things work out the QL booth will be even more awesome! Especially for specs :)

Let's hope people attend this time and don't drop out. We're walking a fine line here as another failed Quake tournament could mean no more quake at Dreamhack.

I'd do a 16 players tournament, only accepting the most trust worthy ones (not ins not oaki_dude).

how the hell do you get to Jönköping cheaply and easily?

Fly to either Gothenburg (Landvetter Airport or Gothenburg City Airport) or Stockholm Skavsta and take a bus to Jönköping. Check www.nettbuss.se or www.swebus.se for busses. If you book your journey rather soon trains is a good option as well, although more expensive. www.sj.se for trains.
