Just don't buy SteelSeries mice. If you are after an ambidextrous mouse go for the Abyssus or G100s or WMO instead. Much better sensors and far less buggy software.

The latest update of the Kana is very good and problem free and performs really well. The main difference between these two mice is the WMO feels bigger mainly because it's taller. The build quality is much better on the Kana and the Kana tracks at well at much higher speeds. Despite them weighing about the same, the WMO does feel lighter. I prefer the WMO for one reason - its taller and feels much bigger in my hand, I have huge hands :) The Kana is better in pretty much ever other way.

By the way, I have a near new Kana I could sell if you're bothered? I'm using EC2 Evo now.

I'd say you can't really go wrong with the WMO considering how cheap it is.. if you don't need sidebutttons and don't mind the 400 dpi, cord. so-so build quality and overclocking the polling rate.
I haven't had a chance to try the Kana, but I'd say if you're willing to invest over 40€ in a mouse I would consider going all the way and getting a Zowie FK or AM

The iCafe version is apparently made for korean lan cafes by Steelseries and sold on ebay by others (it arrived new inbox so rest assured it hasnt been abused for ages by angry koreans). Only differences between the regular kana is the glossy black finish you cant get on other kanas, the black scroll wheel, the black underside and the nonbraided chord (which I prefer, this mouse is a bit easier to move around thanks to that feature, just be careful with the chord). The shell, sensor, internals, switches etc are all exactly the same as a regular kana.

It's legit.

I even found the side buttons to require just abit more force, which is good because its so easy to accidentally click them. Cable (rubber) is alittle stiff, but not as stiff as the braided. Still comes with plastic mousefeet though and TTC switches.

TCC are stiff and without feedback, if I ever got one I'd replace them with spare omrons asap :(

WMO is better since Kana has prediction.

The prediction on the Kana is very, very minor. I siwtched from Abyssus to Kana and compared to the Abyssus, the Kana felt like it had no prediction.
I think the Zowie FK and/or AM will feel alot smaller than the WMO or Kana because they are much thinner. I had a Kinzuadder which looks similar'ish to a WMO or Kana but feels way smaller because it's alot thinner.

true, they're more on the small side, you have to like the shape of course. but I think it's not as far off as the Kinzu
actually, according to this the FK is slightly thinner than the WMO and Kana, while the AM is slightly thicker.
but it's measured at the thinnest point, so it's pretty relative. the shapes are still going to feel quite different of course

Prediction is overrated.

This "prediction" you are referring to fails to ruin the mouse.
edit: Same with Salmosa, for example.
Both are better than WMO.

WMO is really good, but Salmosa is awesum.

It is, I'd still be using mine if the scroll wheel was properly working :/ It might now randomly scroll up or down regardless of the actual attempted direction of scroll, and I won't have that as I've weapon binds on the wheel.

Mine never did such a thing. I use it for 1,5 years now.

Most of my WMOs had this issue. The wheel is just not that great on wmo.

I was talking about the Salmosa. Tho I hadn't had any problems with my previous WMOs whatsoever.

Not exactly.
The kana sensor acts a bit different and is certainly not everyone's cup of tea - less prediction on wmo, different DPI steps.

You can get kana with braided cord (more durable abut also less flexible) or the PVC cord. Kana has instant 500/100hz without driver tinkering, the mousewheel quality is slightly better.

kana stock feet are arguably even worse than wmo.

I'd say some zowie mice are closer to wmo
