Everyone should be allowed to attend any LAN, but why would low-tier players and cheaters be prioritized? Also, zhu is not allowed to use the service QuakeLive, so inviting him to any LAN would be like closing a slot.

To be honest, if Zhu was really serious about getting unbanned and not just fulfilling some kind of attention craving deficit, he should go to DreamHack anyway.

Treat it like a political campaign, meet the admins, meet the players, show that you are a nice guy, once you get 1 or 2 recognized people vouching for you it's already a big win.
In a way, that's exactly what ZeRoQL did, he didn't just make a random fragmovie once every blue moon, he offered a consistent support to big events and it actually worked.

I don't suppose he's banned from Dreamhack, just Quake Live. So as long as he's banned from Quake Live, he shouldn't be allowed to attend the Quake Live tournament. The event itself -- sure.
