I love that 125 FPS brought back t4 and dm6 without dropping hub/ztn/dm13. The June mappool to me is the best one yet, using all of those maps at the same time. t7 seems to be a no-brainer. I personally would have chosen tox as 7th map.
Furious Heights, Lost World, Silence, Cure, Toxicity, Hektik, Aerowalk
I don't even know what maps are best, it would just be cool too see a different set altogether for the most part, keep it interesting and maybe attract more viewers potentially too. I'm also a fan of the fast paced maps, great to watch from a spectator view.
check map votes, hektik is second from bottom.. noone loves hektik.
You get fucked spawns in aero 2/10 max times, same goes with other maps, like t7 and so on.
A few of the competetive maps have more or less serious spawn issues. T7 as you say, Aerowalk, even dm13 with its constant MG fights at the start and one player getting 150 armor + MH but no weapons is somewhat stupid in terms of spawns. Cure has stupid spawn combinations as well and dm6 has always been a prime example of retarded initial spawns..
Though, I think, on all these maps it is not as much of a problem as on Aerowalk where, due to the map size, a player can defend 4 items from one position.
However, aerowalk is so chaotic that it kind of works.. the thing is you need to rely on the other player making mistakes/missing his shots or you need to hit 80% rail yourself.
Don't see the point in keeping Aerowalk with the fucked up starting spawns (player 1 gets MH+RG+LG+RA player 2 gets YA + nades lol...). OK, it's a classic map, but especialy with timelimit 10 the player with the best spawn has WAY too much of an advantage.
No matter how much I like the map when starting spawns are fair, we have to let go of it.
wouldn't this work better as a survey? or at least, wouldn't having a simple quantified survey add a lot of valuable info to the conversation? for instance, if the survey comes up with 90% of people voting for Cure, discussion about it isn't really needed much...
Tox in - it's active and players like it.
Ztn - Must be.
Aero - still must be.
T7 - good QL map.
Lostworld - slow, boring, but still nothing to change with.
Silnce - New and not so bad map.
Players and spectators should pick maps together for community tournaments, but for championships, players should give feedback to the organisers' decisions!
So for 125FPS, we and last month's players should pick maps where of course players have the biggest influence on the final map pool.

Hektik isn't this bad. Watch some rapha games there. I've started enjoying it recently.
Actually I prefer small 3 item maps like aero and hektik rather than big ones (dm6, sinister, battleforged)
Fuck I think that map has so much potential. A few months ago when it was in the standard pool (and my pro time had just run out) I played that map probably twenty times and it really grew on me. It can be played very defensively especially when one player has already established a score advantage, but if the game is close and the major items are split the map shows some awesome moments as players rush from red to mega(or mega to red) to do damage or even steal an item. The position of the YA allows for some especially interesting situations, setting up traps in the rail room as someone moves for the YA or sneaking above the jumpad. If the problematic spawns are removed I think this will become one of my favorite maps, although who knows if anyone else will still want to play it...
