The Abyssus has been fixed for a long time. Ive bought a new one myself just recently and it works flawlessly (same as the old one) on any surface (table, Qck +, Goliathus Speed - both on the all black and black with green splash versions), so Ive got only good words for it.

As for the Control vs Speed, it depends. Control has some friction, Speed has almost none.

And yes, Kinzu v2 sensor is the biggest pile of shit ever made.

Do you notice you hit malfunction speed?
I play with low sensitivity @400 dpi and with the Kinzu v2 Pro if I quickly move the mouse it skips or goes crazy.

No, abyssus does nothing like that. I do quick flicks and moves with the mouse all the time and it never went apeshit, unlike the kinzu v2.
Not even at times when I was using low sens along with low senscap and literally drove the mouse all over the table like a madman.

I would get the DA2013 but as I said the shape will be too unconfortable to me because I use fingertip grip.

Because it's a shit product by a shit company that only exists because people keep buying their shit on a weekly basis because the shit breaks/malfunctions so fast.

I don't like synapse, I don't like the way they promote their products and I don't find them a trustworthy manufacturer.

This is a personal opinion and I'm aware many don't agree with it.-

DA and Goliathus are great, might even consider getting that pad in the future but everything else is garbage and any investment in their products would only feed the greed machine, catered towards 14 year olds who get their panties wet because of LED lights and stupid marketing gimmicks.

They do not deserve your money.

Im not going to defend the abyssus beyond anything, because I agree its a matter of opinion. And I agree with your opinion on razer in general. Their products are mostly shiny ovcerpriced pieces of junk, with a few exceptions.

Abyssus is really one of them. Its possibly the best mouse Ive ever had (my list includes mx300, g1, intelli 1.1a, wmo 1.1a, the legends). It has a great shape, its a simple back-to-the-roots mouse with 2 buttons and a scroll wheel, which is all I ask for. And most importantly, it works really well - actually, of the many people I know who own/owned the abyssus, only one experienced the jitter.
I simply dont like to see the mouse bashed based on years old reviews.

The abys in its current state (granted you don't get a faulty one) is an awesome mouse - it should have been like that from the beginning. There were so many threads just here on ESR about people with faulty mice who just accepted it as something normal and kept buying them until they got a working one.

That's why I advise people to look further because there are better products around.

Zowies are similar but better in every single aspect.

And dont work on colored surfaces.

Abyssus + Goliathus Large Control/Speed

Fingertip grip. I'm sure If I buy the DA it will cost me a LOT to get used to, but oh well.

Why not g100s? It should be a nice mouse for claw grip. Hell, I have a g400 and I grip it with my fingertips, but you need gorilla hands. The Logitech mice are good, why exclude them?

If ure afraid to buy abyssus, either make sure at ur local store ull be able to exchange it just in case, or get g100s. Buying logitech is always safe, unless its g9x.

If you buy a DA2013 then better get a Zowie EC2 it has the same shape and buttons

I can't get Logitech. Unfortunately the only shop I can buy on doesn't have it. :(.

EDIT: Actually, now that I see, they have the G100 and the G400.

But the G100 only has 1000, 1750 and 2500 dpi steps and I use 400. :/

You should try to find the g100s, it has different native DPI steps and has most of the sensor issues resolved

Is g100s your main mouse? if so how is your quake accuracy? Link me to your statistics. Im deciding between zowie fk or g100s, and am currently using g300 with okay accuracy.

I haven't played quake in ~3 months or so and even if would play it regularly my stats (or any stats for that matter) don't prove anything about the mouse - it's just a device, it doesn't give you +12 strength and +5 charisma like in rpgs.

I've tested the g100s and haven't noticed any sensor flaws, doing swift 180 turn on different DPI / sens settings in various games.

When I have extra money I may pick up another one. I really loved the one I had, but the jitter was crazy.

Except from the very high lift of distance I didn't have any problems with my Razer Abyssus Mirror which I purchased 1,5 year ago. I used a Razer Goliathus Speed for it@450dpi and 1000hz.

And yes, I didn't experience any jitter either. :)

Finally got the mouse. It jitters on my old QCK+ SK Edition. I don't really notice it in CS though.

Gonna pick up a Goliathus in the next couple of weeks, will it help with the jitter?
