Can I play if I played in the last season and didn't qualify?

Yep. The only ones who can't play in this are the ones who have already qualified for the season final, listed above.

What about people who qualified for last seasons final but are still under the elo cap? Exclusive had a kid so he couldn't play in the finals last season(he qualified) but he might be interested in playing as things have slowed down a bit since the birth of his child.

Each season is separate. Players who have qualified in previous SiU seasons are eligible to play. Only players who have already qualified for this season's Grand Final are not permitted to participate.

Causes your player base to shrink rapidly when they cant keep playing just a thought. Also they loose interest in the event when they have to wait for a month to be able to compete in the finals.

Would you believe this is the method used by RobsomeAwesome? I agree and think a points system is far superior. Though, perhaps if you ran four qualifiers four days in a row followed by a grand final it could be interesting.

Now that would be alot better then doing weekly stuff like this. Don't you run these now so just change the format. Would be similiar to the 125fps style. I just dont agree with the whole you win you cant play till the finals it kills your event. you look at the past seasons and they dwindle towards the end.

meh.. 4 weeks seems to go by in minutes these days.. its w.e with me =)

Hey james, I'm having some technical issues with my laptop I don't know if I will be able to sort it out in an hour :((
EDIT: I'll elaborate, I'm having a bit of a Jamierio. I've used an ergonomic keyboard for years and spilled coffee in it last week. Half of the keyboard will only register approx 1/3 of the keystrokes. I have a shitty dell replacement keyboard but it feels so strange to play on I know it will only make me rage.
