It wasn't that obvious - it was called #playquake until not long ago.

guys here is some funny stuff i did on the pickup ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
i went in a ctf pickup there is some guy who made the server i went in and the server was nooby server it was 4 vs 3 and he locked the team so it still 4 vs 3 and keeps pausing and leaving weaps on the floor so he pick them up at once and when some one comes he uses them and kill them with ,,,,,,,,,,,( totaly wierd case if he leave the weaps they nether will disapere or the enemy might take him and use it aginst us ) and he people kept quiting the game till its 2 vs 1 so he aborted ..... i went to irc and keep telling him fuck u , u dont know how to run a server and so ,then an admin saw our chat and deleted me from the next pickup ,, i went on a private chat with the admin told him a piece of my mind .. really bad words :D (no body asks what is :D)so he banned me from the channel for a day XD and in tdm pickup i went in a pickup but without an invite i kept saing give me an invite give me and invite (case iam standrad ) till and admin saw me saying that so he banned me from tdm pickup 2 fro 4 hours lol,, isn't missing with people great :D

I was in that game (on the other team).

The guy is a good player, so maybe you should have listened to him instead of taking items from base.

To me it felt like he overreacted(pausing 4 times to whine @ team), then again I didnt see what you did exactly.

Your first line says enough, and basically you are telling how you acted like an idiot and got treated like one.

I know its not easy to get started in pickup as a newb, and there will always be whine of some sorts. I was adviced to kill myself in some of the first games :o

Now I even get a 'who the **** is that guy?' sometimes (very rarely though :D ).
