yea when i enable that it gets lighter, but k1llsen doesnt have that in his cfg so why is mine so dark? when i enable that, its like everything has so much contrast, water on tox gets all white for example. not natural.
By far the most important cvars are the first six I listed.
I recommend leaving lightmap/fullbright/intensity/contrast at defaults (0,0,1,1 respectively), and disabling bloom. Use the rest to determine what works for you.
with qlprism running native on w8, no active ql color correction is needed. thus can change gamma without it, as long as r_overbrightbits doesnt go beyond 1.
with chrome or other browser, active ql color correction is needed, unlesss u run firefox with compability options set, which u cant on certain/most chrome versions as they are incompatible with that (probably all of them).
The best thing to do would to get a petition for nomip going and do without r_overbrightbits.
Did you reset to default before execing k1llsens cfg? Perhaps another config (autoexec?) is having an impact or a missing cvar from k1llsens cfg is not set to default
