Try without driver. It's useless anyways.

I used to be able to adjust the hz without singing the driver and rebooting, but ever since Windows 7 I've had to sign the driver with dseo.exe and reboot.

If you follow those instructions step by step without taking any shortcuts it should work. At LANs people always had issues with 500hz, but I've never ever had an issue of getting the mouse at 500hz. Maybe it's good luck who knows, but be aware there's a dseo12.exe and a dseo13b.exe, the 13b being a beta version of 13. I remember at LAN some people not being able to get it to work properly, and the solution was to either use the 13 beta, or use the 12 stable. I can't remember which worked properly, but if you have any issues try the regular one if you're using the beta.

Make sure you're on the updated motherboard drivers and such, also make sure the mouse is plugged into the mobo directly and not through a USB port located on the PC case.

I somehow missed these replies, thanks very much! I followed the youtube guide that Carpio posted and it worked for me, so anyone having trouble getting up to 500hz etc on win7 64bit, follow that guide to the letter! :)

Is there any way to use this under Win8 or any other workaround to overclock the usb with Win8?
