I have a Zowie EC1 already. These are both extra mice I have. I am just wondering which is more valuable/better than the other.

i dotn think it makes a difference,besides maybe age. in that case it might be a bit lame to give an old mouse away. i know when i still had a 518 that the mouse buttons became increasingly difficult to click over time. why dont u just ask him though?

if you use the dpi buttons as binds for stuff mx518 is better.. Dunno what they did on the g400 but my last two fucking SUCK for those buttons, both had press issues within a week or two... I gotta put tons of force on them now to make the bind work -_-

and yes I know I'm a newb for using those buttons! :)

Both mice are as similar as you are going to get changing models, and the g400 is a better mouse in every respect than the mx518.

Out with the old in with the new (and better).

keep mx518 though, better build quality, my mx500 still works fine(in use) since 2001. That's what, 12y or something.
