Cpma is a nice mode, good movements for CA and defrag, good alternate gameplay,... and a ton of shit from cpma community to other mods.

1. "Slow mode" - is mean VQ3, ye? cpm is a slowpoke compared to E++ mode, so shut up kids.
2. cpm-ers cannot play VQ3, and they demonstrate it here. So obvious and poority.

Yes it is but the transition from cpm to vq3 is much more natural imo. :)
Not saying I agree with everything said above though.

1. Yes, it was a reference to VQ3 or QL. E++ is okay, nothing to do with the video though.
2. It's unfortunate you didn't like the VQ3 gameplay, it's also unfortunate that it's a intro.
3. There are no staged frags in this video and it's actually four different players. The cpm POV was from a cup and both cpm players are extremely talented. The VQ3 POV is mine and the opposing player is someone else entirely. If I had permission to use a high level VQ3 demo I would have, but I didn't so I had to make do. I'm not going to go around using demos for movies without asking.

I liked the concept, but maybe could have been made a bit punchier ;) the intro nearly killed me. Also, textures a little messed up on aero.

I could have worked more on making a bit more eye candy, but really it was just an idea that was bugging me so I made it quicktime. I couldn't decide on using normal aero textures or not, in the end I went for it because it made the transition a bit less visually apparent (even though it has some strange bugs with lightmap ha). Thank you for the input :)

Texture wise I just meant that in the "slowmode" part some default textures were still there, not sure why. Did you just go for full picmip or override textures?

Just picmip, i'm no map maker but I assume the textured parts are something else entirely thus making them immune to the picmip purge :D

I don't think videos like this help anything. I say let people try each gameplay and determine which they prefer. I think a lot of QL/VQ3 players would enjoy CPM if they gave it a chance (and if the CPM community weren't so utterly dead compared to QL).

Try CPM 1v1 and TDM and see what you think.

there is no competitive scene that means no tourneys or leagues. that's why much less players in promode. imo

The scene is self motivated and there are leagues every weekend. More and more people come over from QL every week. You're certainly not going to make money from anything though, it's competitive for the sake of being compeititve.

competitve scene is not only about money. some1 plays for money, some1 plays for glory, some1 plays only coz they like challenges with equal players\teams and wanna make their results better.

Well then you're wrong. Because by your definition there's a competitive scene, in fact the whole community is competitive because that's why everyone plays cpm. We all play to get better and we all play to prove we are better than the other guys, it's why we gather to play tournaments every week.

Both. There are several sites, I use bosstour because it's UK players. But Russia has a few sites i'm sure, you'd do well to start going to #cpmpickup too
