Since I know you guys like hardcore shooters, I thought I'd share this game called Legions: Overdrive. www.legionsoverdrive.com
It's a completely free (not even any microtransactions) "FPS+Z" game - basically meaning it has jetpacks and a lot of aerial combat. Its main gamemode is CTF like other Tribes games, but it's a much faster and draws some similarities to Quake with it's air maneuverability, rocket launcher behavior, and engaging combat (Tribes combat is a little on the stale side).
It has a very small but strong community has has been around for quite a few years and has endured its original developer's company going under and the game going offline for months. Since it's so small, I recommend trying the game at peak hours and checking this site to make sure there's a pub up: http://harrymilne.co.uk/. It's been in community hands now for a few years and has improved tremondously with a lot of new content.
There's no up-to-date game tutorials except for this one I made specifically for Tribes players (this is because there is so many new game-changing content, most of the videos out there are out-of-date). You can find that here and I highly recommend watching it, even though it skips many of the basics: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VbDnDxLBfw&noredirect=1
Here's some out-of-date montages (the tutorial above has some great montage-worthy clips in it): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUBDzQmqDZI&noredirect=1

And last but not least, here's some sick new footage from a 15 year old kid wrecking people in a pick-up game (demo recording so it's not showing any comms). It's almost like a montage within itself (note: you can play this game in first or third person mode): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_psRlsgK_6Q
