That would rather be "cg_lightningStyle 0" for consistency. Also enemy beam would be the same (invisible), so one more cvar would be needed.

You can try the existing setting - cg_lightningStyle 5, the beam is blended so you can focus on crosshair.

x being the value of your style
y being the value of your enemies style
z being the value of team style

valid numerical options are 0-4 with 4 being a non-existent beam. thus you can have the command : cg_altLightning 423 or such and have your beam being invisible, while the enemies is qw style and your teams is thin.

i use cg_altLightning 420

fix server browser finaly.
old well known bug: people cant see all private servers even at one location in one game mode.

pfff...needs to change option "Game State:" from "Any game state" to "All Populated".

Or better, produce a lightweight method of refreshing the browser, a la Facebook.

It's extremely frustrating when you join a game only to realise the browser displayed old information, causing you to waste more time between the lengthy refreshes.

lengthy refreshes? ... just refresh as needed, before joining in?
