It sounds like you don't like dynamic lighting. i can't speak for twister, however, it can be quite useful in TDM or other game modes that involve power-ups, as quad carrier emits a blue blow around him even before the actual model is visible.

Nah I never played with dynamic light. It must have been on 1 before I cleaned my config some weeks ago but wasn't actually working because vertexlight 1 disables dynamic light by default. I guess that's not the case in wolfcam which is why it's enabled in the video.

i tried out your config and wondered why dynamiclight doesn't work for me. but i never thought it has something to do with the vertexlight. good to know. really appreciate your config. works well for me. thanks for that.

EDIT: also it seems like whenever you give some splash damage that your crosshair turns yellow but on a direct hit it turns red, how did you do that?

This type of fragmovie is great for me. It's pure and unedited, exactly the way I want to see a frag.

I love that you use your own config as well. It's much more enjoyable than some of the movie configs we've seen recently.

I'm amazed at how little you seem to move your mouse when you use rockets. 10 for smoothness, content and length.

Hm, in my experience, no. There are rare situations where you have no idea where your enemy is and a rail can come as a surprise but I can't say that I've been completely unaware of his position after being hit.

I remember at adroits Avek was using railtime 0. That was for his rails and the opponents rails. I guess some people prefer it but imo it's more useful to see the rail.

Why use ingame config :( It's made to be functional, once out of game that's not necessary any more and it's just ugly as fuck :( And that killbeep D: Amazing frags, but not a nice watch :/

I think this clean config is great for what this video is trying to do: show us frags! I don't need gimmicky effects or pretty lighting for that. :)

But do you need a game timer and full HUD to show you frags? I play with all these things, and without texture, but if I watch frags I want some aesthetics. Just texture...at least :(

My favorite q3 frag movie to date is Just Quake, which had picmip 0 but full HUD, timer etc. I guess it's just my taste :)

Obviously, it's all preference. I just feel that a frag can be appreciated more without all that (now unnecessary) stuff is removed. pleasure talking to you :)
