(Before you read this just a reminder i don't know shit about the netcode so there may be a lot of incorrect info down below)
What's the difference between CPMA and QL netcode? Does QL have xerp and laghax like CPMA? If so why do people say CPMA netcode is better? is ql netcode possibly buggy?
I often hear comments about people wishing for cpma netcode but it seems like as strange as it sounds it would have a negative effect in ql. From my pov ql lg is op online (just look at the faceit and zotac winners).and this is the sacrifice we make to have lg clientside. If cpma netcode is as good as ppl say it is then it feels like i'm starting to understand Weird's netcode plan of removing client side detection of lg while improving the netcode to cpma quality. It would be interesting to see how the gameplay would change online. Would the weapon balance be improved? Would it make rockets become op? But even if this change brought us closer to the feel of lan gameplay it may possibly cause the wet noodle lg forcing ppl to aim differently onlne (more then now) and causing ppl to quit. All in all something that needs to be carefully considered.
