because you can really feel a difference between 800 and 1150 right, how about you just change your sens and stop being such a fag

because fps isn't the only genre of games out there and in other games adjusting your dpi IS adjusting your sens

I have the same problem which is why I can't use Zowie mice. 1150 is too high and 450 is too low. There's not really a way to get a feeling of 800 that I know of, but I have heard of someone who adjusted the lens and got it to around 750.

I've also modded it with cut standart avago lens to increase lod myself which resulted in different values (around 900 for middle step).
However I'd just try to get used to it, nothing is wrong with 1150 tbh, you just need some time to feel it like you feel 800dpi

Can't you do something like 5/11 in Windows and then in_Mouse 1 or something? I mean, I wouldn't, but you could.

thats why he should use Ql Accel filter or anirs moudrv. They both use raw input and filters it. Use Post Scale = 0,8 on a 1000 DPI mouse and it equals sensitivity of a 800 DPI mouse. Better than ingame sens or any other mousedriver.

Games that support and use Raw Input or DirectInput will ignore the control panel pointer speed slider, so you will have to change the in-game sensitivity instead, using whatever setup the game has for that.

For games that don't use Raw Input or DirectInput, AND assuming that you have the mouse control panel 'Enhance pointer precision' checkbox OFF, you have 3 options:

- Run Enhance pointer precision OFF and pointer speed slider 5/11, which gives 1150 × 0.75 = 863 CPI

- Run Enhance pointer precision OFF and pointer speed slider '4.5'/11, which gives 1150 × 0.625 = 719 CPI
(To set '4.5', regedit.exe and change HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse\MouseSensitivity to 7 and logout or reboot.
If you ever go into the Control Panel > Mouse dialog again, it will mangle the '4.5' back to another number, so be careful, or there is a program that can be run on startup or from an icon to set it without going into the registry.)

- Run Enhance pointer precision ON and create a custom MarkC Mousefix Builder fix, but don't choose 1-to-1 when asked about sensitivity, enter : 0.7, which will give a CPI of 805.
Apply the fix and logout or reboot.

IF you usually have EPP ON, then a custom registry fix can get you back to 800 CPI, including matching the control panel mouse accel, but it takes a little calculation, let me know if you do have Enhance pointer precision ON.
