Camera 'camera type' determines how your position moves to the next camera point (interp is a straight line, curve is a circular angle, spline is a curve based on all camera points, and jump simply moves to the next point without transition).
You'll probably want to change 'angles type' and 'camera roll' to 'fixed'. It's the same logic as camera positions.
here's an example that you can you can use with any campgrounds or dm6 demo:
1) Create a bunch of camera points with 'v'
2) Use '[' and ']' to select each camera point
3) For each camera point use the keypad arrows and the keypad enter key to change 'camera type' to 'jump' and 'angles type' and 'camera roll' to 'fixed'
