So after collecting a crapload of demos I've started parsing through them to make them a little easier to handle. I'm using a script to grab information out of each demo that you can then sort on. Theoretically after i get through all of them you could query the database and search (for example) for every demo of gellehsak from padawan's pov on cpm22.
Right now the following information is collected from each demo:
-who was playing and spectating
-who was taking the demo (the pov)
-the final scores (and final team scores if applicable)
-the mapname
-the server name
-the gametype
My question to you guys is, what other information would you want to know and/or search on across all the demos? Would you want to see a list of the frags and what weapon was used or is that not useful? Would you want to know what chat occurred is that not useful?
Note that certain things like the time the demo was taken or the event the demo was taken at isn't always accurate or even available.
