I think it is better then the Asus 144hz one. I think it is one best monitor up now, lightboost, 120hz, LED.

afaik the latter was released a year later and has less features, eg. no displayport and is a little cheaper.

XL2420TE was released a few months ago.

I'm lightboosting with an 11T right now, I'm guessing the 20TE isn't worth the upgrade unless I really want the extra features.
